Buffalo Oven Baked Chicken Wings

I love chicken wings and I cook them often. They make a cheap, easy to cook and so tasty dinner idea or party finger food / game food idea for a crowd.
Let’s make these delicious oven backed chicken wings for tonight dinner.
🧂 Ingredients Needed
- Chicken wings
- 1 Buffalo Seasoning Frank’s Red Hot Wings Dry Rub – (or make your own from salt, black pepper, garlic powder, brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, mustard powder, onion powder- about 3 tbsp. dry mix)
- Little vegetable oil
🍗 How To Make It
1. Prep the wings
Cut, rinse and pet dry chicken wings. Place them into a bawl and add the dry rub spice mix (about 3 tbsp. dry mix).
Rub and mix the wings with your hands until all are covered in spices.
2. Transfer into a baking dish
Transfer the wings into a baking dish – a sheet pan or any oven baking container/casserole. I used a round glass baking dish.
Drizzle with cooking oil and cover with aluminum foil.
3. Bake
Bake the chicken wings at 350F for about 1 hour. Check them at half time – turn them with a fork to cook evenly on all parts. 10 minutes before taking them out, remove the foil to let them crisp.
🍽️ Serving & Preserving
Serve these wings on a platter next your desired side dishes – French fries, mashed potatoes, rice, green salads, seasonal salads, potato salads.
Preserve leftovers covered in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.

- 1 aluminum foil
Ingredients
- 2.2 lbs (1kg) chicken wings
- 1 Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Mix OR make your own 3 tbsp. dry rub (salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, brown sugar)
- 2-3 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Prep the wings: cut, rinse and pat dry the chicken wings. Add the spicy rub and rub them on all parts.
- Transfer into a baking dish. Drizzle cooking oil over them and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 350F for 1 hour. After 30 minutes turn the wings on all parts to cook evenly. 10 minutes before taking them out the oven remove the foil and let them crisp. Serve next to your favorite side dish and seasonal salads. Enjoy!
