Simple Air Fryer Chicken Breast Skewers
Quick and easy air fryer chicken breast skewers is a optimal fast meal solution with minimum prep for any busy weeknight dinner.

You only need simple ingredients and a few chicken breast pieces to put together some chicken skewers (kabobs) and throw them in the air fryer to serve them 20-25 minutes later.
Meanwhile, you can easily put some potatoes to cook on the stove to make a quick mashed potato side dish, or some rice as I did to serve with these skewers.
Ingredients Needed
- Chicken breast
- Bell pepper
- Onion
- Mushrooms
- Seasoning: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder (or anything you like)
- A little oil

Method
If yo have wood skewers, place them into water for 15-30 minutes to avoid burning into the air fryer.
1. Cut ingredients into pieces
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces. Put it into a bawl and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder to taste.

Mix it well so the seasoning covers all the meat. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil and mix again. Set aside.
Cut the onion, mushrooms and bell pepper into the same size pieces as the chicken breast.

2. Fill the skewers
Pat dry the wet skewers and start filling them with meat and vegetables, alternating piece by piece. Continue until you finish all pieces, it will result 5 or 7 skewers.

3. Bake
Preheat the air fryer and cook for about 15-20 minutes on the chicken program. Half time turn the skewers on the other side and brush with some more oil to avoid drying too much.

Serving
Serve these chicken breast skewers on a bed of mashed potatoes or rice.
Add a seasonal salad aside to enjoy a full delicious meal that took 30 minutes to prepare.

I recommend eating them in one sitting as leftovers are very dry and lose most of their taste.

They can be however wrapped into foil or cling film and refrigerated for 2 days. Reheat in air fryer or oven to serve again.

Ingredients
- 1 lbs (500gr) boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 large onion
- 2-5 mushrooms (champignons)
- seasoning: salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder
- 2-3 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Soak the wood skewers into cold water until ready to use.Cut the chicken breast into same size pieces and place into a bawl. Season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and cover well all the meat pieces. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and mix again to coat everything well.
- Cut the vegetables into the same size pieces as the meat. Pat dry the skewers and begin filling them alternating meat pieces with vegetables upon personal preference. Preheat the air fryer for the chicken program.
- Place the skewers into the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes. Half time cooking flip them to the other side and brush with oil to avoid extra dryness.Serve on a bed of mashed potatoes, rice, or sautéed vegetables next to a seasonal salad for a complete meal.
