Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the beans for about 8 minutes until al dente. Turn off the heat.Chop the onions and 2 garlic cloves. Cut the meat in small cubes and brown it in a pot. Remove it and set aside. In the same oil saute the onion and garlic until translucent and soften.Add canned tomatoes and let them cook 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and sugar if necessary. Add a little water and the pork and let it cook until done partially covered with a lid. That will take somewhere around / over 60 minutes depending on the meat. Check on it from time to time.5 minutes before turning off the flame add the green beans and the remaining 3 garlic cloves (chopped or crushed). Stir and let them finish cooking together.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped dill or parsley and serve while still warm with crusty bread and a seasonal salad.
