Air Fryer Chicken Breast Cornflakes Schnitzel
This air fryer chicken breast recipe uses cornflakes for a more crunchy bite and variety of taste. Ready in just 35 minutes!

It’s so easy to make and a convenient choice for a quick dinner idea or to prep for a potluck, picnic, game night or any gathering. You can bake them in the oven also.
Slice them in sandwiches, chicken wraps, make lunch boxes for school snacks or add to salads.

- Chicken breast
- Cornflakes
- Eggs, flour
- Salt and pepper
- Paprika or chili flakes (optional)
🍗 Step By Step Method
1. Cut the chicken breast
Cut the chicken breast in thin strips or slices to your liking. Pound them with a meat mallet if too thick.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add paprika or chili for some heat if you prefer spicy food.
2. Coat the meat
Dredge the chicken in the flour. Make sure the meat is well coated on both sides.

Dig the meat in the eggs, dripping off the excess.

Then dredge in cornflakes.

Continue breading all chicken slices.
3. Bake

Prepare the air fryer. Place a parchment paper inside and add the chicken breast. Bake on chicken program, flipping on other side half way through.

Check for doingness, as it will depend on the air fryer or the thickness of the meat. Transfer on a serving platter and serve while still warm.

Ingredients
- 1 lbs. chicken breast
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup cornflakes
- salt & pepper to taste
- paprika, chili powder (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into fillets and flat them with a meat mallet to desired thickness.Season and dredge them trough flour. Dip into the beaten eggs, them dredge through cornflakes. Cover well on all sides.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and place the chicken breast schnitzels. Bake on the chicken program. Flip the meat halfway though the cooking time.Check for doingness as per your personal taste. Take out the meat and arrange on a serving platter.
