A white bean spread I’m making on regular basis can be used to create mini bean crostini appetizers, especially when beautifully topped and decorated with colorful veggies.

They can look stunning.

So, using different herbs and vegetables we can play with colors and design something very appealing to the eye and moreover for our taste buds.

What You’ll Need

Method

1. Slice baguette and spread

Slice your baguettes in desired thickness pieces and lightly grill them or get them crispy in the oven. Or, you can use them as they are.

Let your imagination go wild, as beans go well with many spices and herbs.

2. Decorate as you like

Spread the bean dip and decorate to taste with fresh dill, parsley, thin slices of bell peppers, cucumber, dill pickles, radishes, sliced olives, chili flakes, crushed black pepper.

3. Arrange on a plate

These colorful bean crostini are a good choice for party / bite-size pool food or to impress on holidays. They are super delicious too.

Ingredients

  • white bean spread with tomato topping
  • baguette slices
  • bell peppers, cucumbers, olives, radishes, dill pickles
  • fresh dill, parsley, black pepper, chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut your baguettes in desired thickness slices. Spread the white bean dip on them along with tomato onion topping.
  • Decorate as you please using slices of bell peppers, radishes, cucumber or olives (optional). Add little green leaves of dill or parsley for more color.
    Arrange on a plate and serve.
